FAQ
What is process automation?
Process automation takes over recurring business processes through software so people can focus on valuable work. Modern process automation combines RPA with AI and integration, so unstructured tasks run too. The result is less manual work, fewer errors and a provable ROI.
What does process automation cost?
It depends on the process, the volume and the depth of integration. A simple, well-structured workflow is implemented faster than a deep SAP connection with many exceptions. We do not quote flat prices but estimate the effort in the strategy call and place the ROI alongside it, so you have a solid basis.
What is the difference from RPA?
RPA is a technique within process automation. It mimics clicks on interfaces and suits structured, rule-based tasks. Process automation is the umbrella term and adds AI for unstructured inputs and integration into core systems. RPA is a part, not the whole.
Which processes pay off first?
The best starting points are processes with a lot of manual work, clear rules and measurable volume. In accounting invoice processing, in logistics order handling, in HR onboarding. In the assessment we deliberately pick a process whose ROI is quick to prove.
How fast does ROI show?
Because we start with a clearly scoped pilot, the value is often visible within a few weeks. We measure beforehand how much time a process costs today and afterwards what the automation saves. So ROI is proven rather than claimed before you invest broadly.
Do you connect SAP, DATEV and CRM?
Yes, integration is the core of every implementation. We connect the automation to your existing systems, whether SAP, a CRM or DATEV, so data is no longer retyped. This clean connection decides whether an automation holds up in daily use.
Is process automation GDPR-aware?
Yes. We work with servers and data in Germany and the EU, clear roles and logged steps. Every automated action is traceable. On request we document the processing so it fits your internal policies and the EU AI Act.
Do you need dedicated IT resources?
Little to start. We handle mapping, implementation and monitoring and align with your IT on access and approvals. Depending on the process a single contact on your side is enough. For ongoing operations you can take over or task us.
How do you measure the value?
We record before the pilot how much time a process costs today and where errors arise. After go-live, monitoring shows what was processed, how much time is saved and where an exception waits for a human. That produces a proven business case instead of a forecast.
Does automation replace our employees?
Usually it replaces dull manual work, not people. Your team spends less time on copy-paste and more on review, exceptions and tasks that require judgment. Capacity previously bound in routine becomes free for work software cannot do.
